On 23/02/2023, a person named Nagarjun, approximately 26 years old, was rescued and admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho Social Rehabilitation Centre for Men in Manjeshwar by a Social Worker, Mr. Anil, from the streets of Moodabidre. During the time of admission, he exhibited psychiatric symptoms of a wandering nature and poor self-hygiene.
Due to the excellent care, treatment, and counseling sessions, his condition started to improve, and he began sharing information about his whereabouts. For the further reunion process, he was transferred to Shraddha Mumbai.
On 10/09/2023, he was successfully reunited with his family in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. His family was in tears of joy upon seeing him back in this recovered condition. According to the family, he had been undergoing treatment for his mental illness, and his condition had worsened due to improper medication management.
His family extended their heartfelt gratitude to the Snehalaya and Shraddha centers for their selfless service. The team provided two months’ worth of medicine and a treatment plan to support his continued recovery.
15 ವರ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಕ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸೇರಿದ ನಾಗಾರ್ಜುನ್
ದಿನಾಂಕ 23/01/2023ರಂದು ನಾಗಾರ್ಜುನ್ ಎಂಬ ಸುಮಾರು 26 ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು, ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅನೀಲ್ ರವರು ಮೂಡಬಿದ್ರೆಯ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, ಆತನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.
ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊರೆತ ಆರೈಕೆ ಹಾಗು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆತಯಿಂದ ನಾಗಾರ್ಜುನ್ ನ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂತು, ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಆಪ್ತಸಮಾಲೊಚನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಆತನು ಕುಟುಂಬದ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡನು.ಮುಂದಿನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಾಗಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 10/09/2023 ಆಂಧ್ರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಅನಂತಪುರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆತನ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ಆತನ ತಂದೆ ಆತನನ್ನು ಆದರದಿಂದ ಬರಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. 15ವರ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಕ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಪಡೆದ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸಂತೋಷಕ್ಕೆ ಮಿತಿಯಿಲ್ಲದಂತಾಯಿತು.ಕುಟುಂಬದವರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾಗಾರ್ಜುನ್ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದು ಔಷಧಿ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಕಾರಣ ಈ ಸ್ಥಿಥಿಗೆ ಬರುವಂತಾಯಿತು.
ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಹಾಗು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ತಂಡವು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳ ಔಷಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿತು.
