On October 17, 2023, an individual named Pradeep Hegde, approximately 40 years of age, was rescued from the streets of Belthangadi. He was discovered wandering near the Belthangadi bus stand and subsequently admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for Men. This action was carried out by our trustees, Mrs. Josliya Crasta and Mr. Santhosh Pinto, with the assistance of Mr. Stephan Monteiro from Madanthyar.

Pradeep is currently afflicted by a mental illness, exhibiting psychiatric symptoms associated with wandering behavior, and has a history of alcohol consumption. He communicates in the Tulu and Kannada languages and claims that he is from Padangady, while additional information about him is unfound.

ದಿನಾಂಕ 17/10/2023 ರಂದು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಬೆಳ್ತಂಗಡಿಯ ಬಸ್ಸು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಬಳಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರದೀಪ್ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆ ಎಂಬ ಸುಮಾರು 40ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜೊಸ್ಲಿಯಾ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಪಿಂಟೊರವರು, ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸ್ಟೀಫನ್ ಮೊಂತೆರೊರವರ ಸಹಾಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.

ರೋಗಿಯು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದು ಮಧ್ಯಪಾನ ಸೇವಿಸುವ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ.ಇತನು ಕನ್ನಡ ಹಾಗೆ ತುಳು ಭಾಷೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುತಿದ್ದು ತನ್ನ ಊರು ಪಡಂಗಡಿ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಯಾವುದೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯು ಲಭ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ.
