A destitute man named Aridh, aged approximately 45 years, was rescued from the streets of Pachanady, Mangalore, and subsequently admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho Social Rehabilitation Centre for men. The rescue operation was conducted by Mr. Prakash Pinto, our trustee, and Mr. Rudy Pinto a Social worker, who spotted Aridh wandering aimlessly on the Railway Bridge.
Aridh, who appeared to be shabbily dressed and lacked self-care, exhibited symptoms of psychiatric problems, underscoring the urgent need for professional care and treatment. Following the rescue, Aridh was promptly admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho Social Rehabilitation Centre for Men, where he will receive the necessary care, treatment, and support to address his psychiatric issues and overall well-being. He claims that his native place is Mallipur of Odisha and speaks the Hindi language.
The Snehalaya team is now seeking assistance from the public to help identify and reconnect Aridh with his loved ones. ದಿನಾಂಕ 21/08/2023ರಂದು ಸುಮಾರು 45 ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಆರಿದ್ ಎಂಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಪಿಂಟೋ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರೂಡಿ ಪಿಂಟೋರವರು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಪಚ್ಚನಾಡಿಯ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಸೇತುವೆಯ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕರ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.
ರೋಗಿಯು ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಸೇತುವೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ದಿಕ್ಕುತೊಚದೆ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಕೊಳಕಾದ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಯ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದ್ದವು. ಆತನು ಒಡಿಶಾದ ಮಲ್ಲಿಪುರದವನ್ನೆನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ಹಿಂದಿ ಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
