A woman named Hanu, approximately 29 years old, was rescued from the streets of Kapu by the social worker Mr. Vishu Shetty and admitted to Snehalaya. At the time of admission, she exhibited symptoms of mental illness. However, she received excellent care and treatment at Snehalaya, and through active participation in counseling sessions, she began to share her whereabouts.
Subsequently, for further reunion process, she was transferred to Shraddha Mumbai. On 19/06/2023, she was joyfully reunited with her family in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. Her brother received her, and they were elated to see her in this recovered condition.
Upon the reunion, they were provided with two months’ worth of medicines and a treatment plan. The family expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards both Snehalaya and Shraddha Centres for their selfless care treatment and reunion of Hanu.

ಸುಮಾರು 29 ವರ್ಷ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಹನು ಎಂಬ ಮಹಿಳೆಯು ತಡ ರಾತ್ರಿಯ ವೇಳೆ ಒಬ್ಬಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಉಡುಪಿಯ ಕಾಪುವಿನ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಶು ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯವರು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು. ದಾಖಲಾತಿಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆಯು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದಳು, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊರೆತ ಉತ್ತಮ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಹಾಗು ಆರೈಕೆಯಿಂದ ಆಕೆಯ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡು ಬಂತು. ಆಪ್ತಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆಯು ತನ್ನು ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಬಿಸಿದಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಂದಿನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರೀಯೆಗಾಗಿ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಂಬೈನ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 19/06/2023 ರಂದು ಆಂಧ್ರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ನೆಲ್ಲೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆಯ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ಆಕೆಯ ತಮ್ಮ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದನು. ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕರ ಸ್ತಿಥಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿದ ಹನುವನ್ನು ನೊಡಿದ ಆಕೆಯ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಆನಂದಭಾಷ್ಪವಿತ್ತರು. ತಂಡವು ಅವರಿಗೆ 2 ತಿಂಗಳ ಔಷಧಿ ಹಾಗು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿತು. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಶ್ರದ್ದಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
