A 28-year-old girl named Roopali, who had been suffering from mental illness, was admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho Social Rehabilitation Centre on March 7, 2023, by the authorities of the Prajna Counselling Centre. During her stay at Snehalaya, Roopali received exceptional care and treatment, including multiple counseling sessions. These efforts led to her gradual improvement, which prompted her transfer to Shraddha Mumbai.
On June 17, 2023, Roopali experienced a joyous reunion with her sister Monika in the Parbhani district of Maharashtra. The sisters were overjoyed to see each other after a painful separation lasting three years. According to Monika, Roopali had been grappling with mental illness for the past three years but had been unable to receive proper treatment due to their family’s poor financial condition. Their father’s alcoholism and the incarceration of their brother had created a distressing environment at home, leading Roopali to flee.
Expressing her gratitude, Monika extended heartfelt appreciation to both the Shraddha and Snehalaya centers for their selfless service in reuniting Roopali. Their dedicated efforts not only provided Roopali with the care and support she desperately needed but also gave her the opportunity to rebuild her life alongside her sister.

ದಿನಾಂಕ 7/03/2023 ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಪ್ರಜ್ನಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ರೂಪಾಲಿ ಎಂಬ ೨೮ ವರ್ಷದ ಯುವತಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊರೆತ ಉತ್ತಮ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಹಾಗು ಆಪ್ತ ಸಮಾಲೊಚನೆಗಳ ಫಲವಾಗಿ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಆತಳ ಊರನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು. ಹೀಗೆ ಮುಂದಿನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರೀಯೆಗಾಗಿ ಆತಳನ್ನು ಮುಂಬೈನ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 17/06/2023 ರಂದು ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಪರಭಾನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತಳ ತಂಗಿ ಮೋನಿಕಾಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆತಳ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ಆತಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂಪಡೆದ ಮೋನಿಕಾ ತುಂಬಾ ಖುಷಿಪಟ್ಟರು. ಮೋನಿಕಾ ಹೇಳುವಂತೆ ರೂಪಾಲಿ ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದಳು, ಅವಳ ಮನೆಯ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು. ತಂದೆಯು ಕುಡುಕನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅಣ್ಣನು ಜೈಲಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಈ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಆಕೆಗೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೀಗೆ ಒಂದು ದಿನ ತಂದೆಯ ಕಾಟವನ್ನು ತಾಳಲಾರದೆ ರೂಪಾಲಿ ಮನೆಬಿಟ್ಟು ಓಡಿ ಹೊಗುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಮತ್ತೆ ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷದ ವರೆಗೆ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಾಳೆ.
ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಕ ತನ್ನ ತಂಗಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂಪಡೆದ ಮೋನಿಕಾ, ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಹಾಗು ಮುಂಬೈನ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
