Snehalaya team successfully rescued a man identified as Prakash, approximately 45 years old, from a rented house in Katipalla, Mangalore. Prakash was found in an alarming state of unhygienic living conditions, surviving on collecting flowers from nearby houses and storing them in his residence.
The public had alerted the Snehalaya team about Prakash’s distressing situation, prompting an immediate response. Under the compassionate guidance of Bro Joseph Crasta, the team swiftly arrived at the location and rescued the vulnerable individual.
Prakash claims to be from Laila, Belthangady, Karnataka and speaks the Tulu language. He is currently under the care and treatment of Snehalaya. Medical assessments have revealed psychiatric symptoms in him, and efforts are underway to provide him with the necessary support and assistance.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 15/07/2023 ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಕಾಟಿಪಳ್ಳದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಎಂಬ 45ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು, ಸಹೋದರ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾರವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ರಕ್ಶಿಸಿತು. ಸ್ಥಳಿಯರಿಂದ ದೊರೆತ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಬಾಡಿಗೆ ಮನೆಯೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತಿದ್ದು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಖಿನ್ನತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದ ಆತ, ನೆರೆ-ಹೊರೆಯ ಮನೆಗಳಿಂದ ಹೂಗಳನ್ನು ತಂದು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇಕರಿಸಿಡುತಿದ್ದನು.
