On 26/02/2022 a destitute named Chandra Shekaran aged 28, was rescued from the streets of Yeyyadi by our trustee Mr Prakash Pinto and admitted him to Snehalaya. He was with poor personal hygiene, self-talking, wandering, and aggressive behavior.
After participating in all our activities and counseling sessions he started to reveal his whereabouts and for his further reunion process, he was sent to Shraddha Mumbai.
On 24/03/2023 he was reunited with his family in Bihar, and his mother received him. The family members were very happy to see him and according to them Chandrashekar was missing for 1 year and 8 months, he was suffering from mental illness for the past 10 years and was under treatment, he has 3 brothers and 2 sisters. His father is a daily wage worker in Delhi and their financial condition is very poor.
He was provided with one month of medicine and a treatment plan. The family thanked both Snehalaya and Shraddha centers for their selfless service.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 26/02/2022 ರಂದು ಯೆಯ್ಯಾಡಿಯ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತಿದ್ದ ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಕರನ್ ಎಂಬ ನಿರ್ಗತಿಕನನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಪಿಂಟೊರವರು ರಕ್ಶಿಸಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು. ರೋಗಿಯು ಕಳಪೆ ನೈರ್ಮಲ್ಯ, ಸ್ವಯಂ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಹಾಗು ಆಕ್ರಮಣಕಾರಿ ನಡುವಳಿಕೆ ಮಂತಾದ ಲಕ್ಶಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದನು.
ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ಹಾಗು ಆಪ್ತಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಅವರ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ಚೇತರಿಕೆ ಕಂಡು ಬಂತು ಹಾಗು ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಅಲ್ಪ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಮುಂದಿನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರೀಯೆಗಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮುಂಬೈನ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 24/03/2022 ರಂದು ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಕರನ್ ಬಿಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿನ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಸೇರಿದರು ಹಾಗು ಅವರ ತಾಯಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂತಸದಿಂದ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಕರನ್ ಕಳೆದ 10 ವರ್ಶಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಕಳೆದ ೧ ವರ್ಶದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಕರಗೆ ೩ ತಮ್ಮಂದಿರು ಹಾಗು ೨ ಅಕ್ಕಂದಿರಿದ್ದು, ತಂದೆಯು ದೇಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯು ಭಾರಿ ಶೋಚನಿಯವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಅವರಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳ ಮದ್ದು ಹಾಗು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕುಟುಂಬವು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಹಾಗು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿತು.
