A destitute named Vandana was rescued and brought by the Snehalaya team from Mangalore Central Railway Station. At the time of admission, she had psychotic features like poor self-care, talking to herself, wandering behavior, and poor interaction. After participating in our all Therapies such as CBT, SRT, MET, and Psycho-Therapy and also with the help of medications, counseling, etc She has been Cured of her mental disturbances. During the counseling sessions, she shared her whereabouts; she was hailing from Galipiji village, muddebihal Tq, Bijapur. After contacting the Muddebihal police station and panchayat members the native address and details of her family were found.
On 13/04/2023 Vandana Reunited with her family, Her sister Mrs. Kashi Bai and her neighbor Mr. Shivraj Thalikote received her with a heart full of Joy and Prayers.
She was provided with one month of medicine and a treatment plan. Her family and neighbors thanked and appreciated her selfless efforts of Snehalaya.
ಮಂಗಳೊರು ರೈಲ್ವೆ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತಿದ್ದ ವಂದನಾ ಎಂಬ ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ರಕ್ಶಿಸಿತು. ಪ್ರವೇಶದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಖಿನ್ನತೆಯಿ, ತನ್ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ, ನಗುತ್ತಿರುವ, ಅಸಂಬದ್ದ ಮಾತುಕತೆ, ಆಕ್ರಮಣಶೀಲತೆ ಮುಂತಾದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಬಿಸಿದರು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ಅವರ ಊರಿನ ಪೋಲಿಸ್ ಥಾಣೆಗೆ ಹಾಗು ಪಂಚಾಯತಿಗೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಿ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ ೧೩/೦೪/೨೦೨೩ ರಂದು ವಂದನಾ ಅವರು ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸೇರಿದರು . ಅವರ ಅಕ್ಕ ಕಾಶಿ ಬಾಯಿ ಹಾಗು ನೆರೆಮನೆಯ ಶಿವರಾಜ್ ತಾಳಿಕೊಟ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯಲು ಬಂದರು. ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಪ್ರಕಾರಾ ವಂದನಾ ಕಳೆದ ಹಲವಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಮನೆಯವರ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳದೆ ಮನೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು, ಆ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಯಾವುದಾದರು ಒಂದು ಆಶ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲು ಮಂಗಳೊರಿಗೆ ಕರೆತರುವಾಗ, ಮಂಗಳೊರು ರೈಲು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಿಂದ ಅವಳು ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾದಳು. ಅವಳ ಕುಟುಂಬಸ್ಥರು ಅವಳನ್ನು ೪ ತಿಂಗಳಿಂದ ಹುಡುಕಿ ಬೇಸತ್ತುಹೊದರು.
ಸುಮಾರು ತಿಂಗಳು ಕಳೆದ ಬಳಿಕ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ಅವಳ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆಮಾಡಿ ವಿಷಯ ತಿಳಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವರಿಗಾದ ಸಂತೋಷ ವರ್ಣಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ತಕ್ಶಣ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಸ್ಥರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕರೆದ್ದೊಯ್ಯಲು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು.1 ತಿಂಗಳ ಔಷಧಿ ಹಾಗು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ಸೇವೆಗಾಗಿ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿದರು.
