A destitute named Hanu aged approximately 29 was rescued by Mr. Vishu Shetty a social worker, from the streets of Kapu of Udupi District, admitted to Snehalaya Psycho Social Rehabilitation center by Nareshan and Preethi, Head Constable and Women Police Constable of Padubidri Police Station. Hanu had wandering behavior, decreased sleep, Irrevelent speech, mood swings, etc. She speaks Telugu and suspected that she is from Andhra Pradesh.

ಸುಮಾರು 29 ವರ್ಷ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಹನು ಎಂಬ ಮಹಿಳೆಯು ತಡ ರಾತ್ರಿಯ ವೇಳೆ ಒಬ್ಬಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಉಡುಪಿಯ ಕಾಪುವಿನ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಶು ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯವರು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಬಾಳಿಗಾ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿ, ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೈಕೆಗಾಗಿ ಪಡುಬಿದ್ರಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಹೆಡ್ ಕಾನ್‌ಸ್ಟೆಬಲ್ ನರೇಶನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಿಳಾ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಪೇದೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಯವರ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಆಕೆಗೆ ನಿದ್ರಾಹೀನತೆ, ಅಸಮಂಜಸವಾದ ಮಾತು ಮತ್ತು ಖಿನ್ನತೆಯ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳಿದ್ದು, ಮನೋರೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾದಂತೆ ತೋರುತಿತ್ತು. ಆಕೆಯು ತೆಲುಗು ಮಾತನಾಡುತಿದ್ದು ಮತ್ತು ತಾನು ಆಂಧ್ರಪ್ರದೇಶದ ನೆಲ್ಲೂರು ಮೂಲದವಳು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು.
