The Republic day celebration was begun at 9.00 AM by Parade which was commanded by Gautham (PSW) – Snehalaya Charitable Trust. At 9.15 AM the National Flag was hoisted in Chapel Ground by Mr Salam Varkadi (Journalist and Social Worker) and Bro. Joseph Crasta (The Managing trustee of Snehalaya Charitable Trust). The unconditional Love and spirit of being an Indian were seen in the Inmates.

             Mrs Savitha D’souza started the function with a delightful Welcome note. The Parade and the Command were led by Mr Goutham (PSW) – Snehalaya Charitable Trust. The National Flag was hoisted by Mr Salam Varkady along with Bro. Joseph Crasta. Then the National Anthem was sung by the Snehalaya Choir Team. Mr Salam Varkadi gave a short Republic Day message and enlightened the Staff and inmates. Then Bro. Joseph Crasta gave a small talk on Republic day and the sanctity of the Indian Constitution. The day was really Encouraging and Special for all the inmates and staff. The Snehalaya Family is very much indebted to Mr Salam Varkadi for participating in Flag Host Event and for selecting Snehalaya to celebrate this Republic Day. The MC was conducted by Mr Thomas (PSW-Snehalaya) and Mr Melwin (Accountant of Snehalaya) and delivered the vote of Thanks and by 9.30 AM programme came to an end. All of the residents, staff, and PSW took part in this programme.
