The programme was conducted by T.B Control Unit of Kasaragod District and PHC, Manjeswar. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Aishwarya K, Medical Officer, Manjeswar PHC. Dr. Narayana Pradeepa, the Medical Officer and Mrs. Savitha Dsouza Administrator Snehalaya addressed the gathering. Sri. Ratheesh S, Senior Treatment Supervisor, Kasaragod was the Resource person of the Programme.

 The programme was extremely informative and helped to understand its severity if untreated. Staff team of Snehalaya, the Psychiatric Social Workers, Nursing Staff and Nursing Assistants were trained to handle the patients affected by TB.  After the inaugural Function TB Screening was done for the residents of Snehalaya.
