After her admission at Snehalaya, she was provided with needed medication. Along with this slowly she was encouraged to participate in different sections of social and therapeutic activities. She also underwent counselling sessions. She started to respond to our treatment and her health began to improve. She felt comfortable and   started to recollect her past life, her family etc. She was then sent to Shraddha Rehabilitation foundation, Mumbai on 08/08/22. for further reunion process.

There the team tried to trace her family and they came to know that she hails from Tasiadini Village, Sundargarh District of Odisha.

She was reunited with her family in Odisha on 05/09/22. She was happily received by her family. Her brother, Jalandhar Bhai told the team that her real name is Dhani. She went missing Sixteen years back. A missing complaint was lodged in the local police station and they were too searching for her. But all their efforts failed to find her. She developed psychiatric problems when her husband died 20 years ago. They couldn’t provide treatment for her mental illness as they were not aware of it’s importance.

They showed their gratefulness towards Snehalaya, Manjeshwar and Shraddha foundation Mumbai for their kind gesture in treating and reuniting Dhani.

ಮಾಲತಿ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಧಾನಿಯಾಗಿ  16 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಒರಿಸ್ಸಾ ದಲ್ಲಿನ ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡರು.

06/04/2022 ರಂದು 65 ವರ್ಷ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಮಾಲತಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರ ಸಹಾಯವಾಣಿಯ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ, ಉಡುಪಿಯ ಬೀದಿಯಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು . ಆಕೆ ಕಳಪೆ ನೈರ್ಮಲ್ಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆ ಮತ್ತು ವೃದ್ಧಾಪ್ಯ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ  ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.

ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಾದ ನಂತರ ಆಕೆಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಔಷಧೋಪಚಾರವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ವಿವಿಧ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಆಪ್ತ ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು . ಆಕೆಯು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸುಧಾರಿಸಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿತು . ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ಆಕೆಯ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಜೀವನ,  ಕುಟುಂಬ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು . ನಂತರ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಾಗಿ ದಿನಾಂಕ 08/08/22 ರಂದು ಮುಂಬೈನ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. .

ಅಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಡವು ಆಕೆಯ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರು ಒರಿಸ್ಸಾದ ಸುಂದರ್‌ಘರ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ತಸಿಯಾದಿನಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದವರು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡರು. ಇದರಂತೆ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತುಕತೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ದಿನಾಂಕ 05/09/22 ರಂದು ಆಕೆಯು ಒಡಿಶಾದಲ್ಲಿನ ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡಳು. ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಆಕೆಯ ಮನೆಯವರು ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಬರಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಆಕೆಯ ನಿಜವಾದ ಹೆಸರು ಧಾನಿ ಎಂದು ಆಕೆಯ ಸಹೋದರ ಜಲಂಧರ್ ಭಾಯ್ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಆಕೆಯು ಹದಿನಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ  ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಪತ್ತೆ ದೂರು ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಆಕೆಗಾಗಿ ಹುಡುಕಾಟ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದರೂ  ಅವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳು ವಿಫಲವಾದವು ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಸುಮಾರು 20 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಆಕೆಯ ಪತಿ ತೀರಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಆಕೆಗೆ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತು. ಆಕೆಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿದಿರದ ಕಾರಣ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಅವರು    ಧಾನಿಗೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಒಂದುಗೂಡಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಶ್ರಮಿಸಿದ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು  ಮುಂಬಯಿಯ  ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.
