Under the kind leadership of Rev Fr Gregary Pereira, Mr Elias Pereira – Vice President, Mrs Mary Dsouza – Secretary, Mr Roshan Boniface Martis former Vice president of the Parish Council, Mrs Anita Martis – Animator YCS and the Young dynamic catholic students from St Joseph Church, Soorikumeru Borimar visited Snehalaya, yesterday on 6th march 2022 and spent their valuable time with the Inmates.
During this lent time YCS Unit of St Joseph Church, Soorikumeru Borimar spent a day with the sick and needy people at Snehalaya and offered Vegetables, Rice and fruits which was collected from the Parishioners. After the orientation , visit and interaction, YCS SOORIKUMERU BORIMAR Unit along with the Representatives of Parish conducted Cultural Programme to entertain the Inmates of Snehalaya. YCS President Shallen Martis, Secretary Prithesh Dcunha and all the office bearers made the whole group to step together for the music which brought smile on their faces and made their day. They also brought Holy Rosaries for the Snehalaya family and prayed for them.
Rev. Sr Nancy CSST, Superior of Jeevan Nilaya Convent Soorikumeru and Steevan Alwyn Pais, Everest Pinto, Fuzy Dsouza and Victor the Lay Leaders of the Parish were present.
It was indeed a great experience and a fruitful day. Brother Joesph Crasta Snehalaya thanked and prayed for their kind gesture during this Lenten Season.
