Under Pratyasha Project, Snehalaya Charitable Trust (R.) has given the authority to visit and support in reuniting the patients at different institutions of 5 Districts of Kerala State (Kasaragod, Kannur, Malapuram, Calicut and Wayanadu). Snehalaya is happy to share that the Government of Kerala has recognised the efforts of Snehalaya in rescue, care, treatment and reunion process of the destitute with psycho -social problems and sanctioned the Pratyasha Project.
Managing Trustee, Joseph Crasta and Snehalaya team visited few of the institutions and observed that nearly 50 patients are waiting for reunion. And in the first attempt on 24/01/22, 10 patients were brought to Snehalaya from Theresa Bhavan and Sneha Bhavan at Kannur *who were waiting for reunion . Mr. Narayana Swami was one among them, aged 55 was rescued by Payavoor police from Uppupadana street and admitted for care and treatment at Theresa Bhavan on 02/04/2013.
Team Snehalaya had the counseling sessions and tried to collect the details of Narayana Swami. With the little information shared by him, team Snehalaya contacted Kuruburu village Panchayath and the walveman Mr. Krishna provided the information about the family of Narayana Swami.
As per the information, team Snehalaya contacted his family and came to know that his parents were expired, he has 4 Siblings and all are married. The younger brother Chandrappa was in contact with the team Snehalaya and started their journey towards to Kuruburu village on 28th January 2022. And on 29/01/22 team Snehalaya found his house and met the family members at Kuruburu village of Chintamani taluk, Chikkaballapura District.
Narayana Swami’s younger brother Chandrappa was happy to receive him back who went on missing 13 years back because of the psychiatric illness.

ಕೇರಳ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಪ್ರತ್ಯಶಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ (ರಿ .) ಗೆ, ಕೇರಳ ರಾಜ್ಯದ 5 ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳ (ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು, ಕಣ್ಣೂರು, ಮಲಪುರಂ, ಕಲ್ಲಿಕೋಟೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಯನಾಡು) ವಿವಿಧ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮರುಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮನೋ ರೋಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಸೇರಿಸಲು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದೆ.
ಮನೋದೌರ್ಬಲ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿರುವ ನಿರ್ಗತಿಕರ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ, ಆರೈಕೆ, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಕೇರಳ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಶಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಂಜೂರು ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಲು ಹರ್ಷಪಡುತ್ತೇವೆ.
ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ಟಾ ಮತ್ತು ತಂಡವು ಕೆಲವು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿತು. ಹಾಗೂ ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಸುಮಾರು 50 ರೋಗಿಗಳು ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದರು. ಮತ್ತು 24/01/22 ರಂದು ಮೊದಲ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕಣ್ಣೂರಿನ ಥೆರೇಸಾ ಭವನ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನೇಹ ಭವನ ದಿಂದ 10 ರೋಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತರಲಾಯಿತು. ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ.ನಾರಾಯಣ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಎಂಬುವರು 55 ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದವರಾಗಿದ್ದು ಪಾಯವೂರು ಪೋಲೀಸರು ಉಪ್ಪುಪದನ ಬೀದಿಯಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಥೆರೆಸಾ ಭವನದಲ್ಲಿ 02/04/2013 ರಂದು ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ಕೌನ್ಸೆಲಿಂಗ್ ಅವಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿತು ಮತ್ತು ನಾರಾಯಣ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿತು. ಅವರು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ಕುರುಬೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಿತು ಮತ್ತು ವಾಲ್ವ್‌ಮ್ಯಾನ್ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಅವರು ನಾರಾಯಣ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿದರು.
ಇದರಂತೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡದ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಅವರ ಕಿರಿಯ ಸಹೋದರ ಚಂದ್ರಪ್ಪರವರನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಿದರು.
ಅವರ ಪೋಷಕರು ತೀರಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ,4 ಮಂದಿ ಒಡಹುಟ್ಟಿದವರಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಯಿತು . ಕಿರಿಯ ಸಹೋದರ ಚಂದ್ರಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು. ಇದರಂತೆ ದಿನಾಂಕ 28/01/22 ರಂದು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ನಾರಾಯಣ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯನ್ನು ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಬೆಳೆಸಿತು. ಮತ್ತು ದಿನಾಂಕ 29/01/22 ಚಿಕ್ಕಬಳ್ಳಾಪುರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಚಿಂತಾಮಣಿ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಕುರುಬೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿತು .
13 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಯಿಂದ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ನಾರಾಯಣ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯನ್ನು ಅವರ ಕಿರಿಯ ಸಹೋದರ ಚಂದ್ರಪ್ಪರವರು ಹರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಬರಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು ಮತ್ತು ಇದರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಶ್ರಮಿಸಿದ ಸರ್ವರಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು
