18/03/2021 was the beginning of a new phase in the life of Bellama aged 58, when she was found on the street of Melkar by our team. They brought her to Snehalaya a home of care and treatment. Bellama was suffering from psychological problems and was in a very pathetic and unhygienic state.
But Snehalaya became a turning point in her life. Bellama was provided with proper care and treatment along with the participation at many therapeutic activities. She was treated at personal counselling too.
As a result of her continuous active participation and medication she recovered from her psychological illness. She revealed her home address. With the assistance of Shraddha Foundation Mumbai,
the team could trace her family at Tirunelveli District, Tamilnadu
As per the discussion with her brother team members came to know that she had been suffering from mental problems and 2 years back she left home. They searched for her desperately but couldn’t find her anywhere. She has a daughter who lives with her brother.
Snehalaya Psycho- Social Rehabilitation Centre and Shraddha Foundation Mumbai who brought a ray of hope in their lives. The happy day came in their lives and Bellama was reunited with her family on 7th January 2022.
They were happy and grateful to both the Institutions, for their efforts in care, treatment and reunion.
ಬೆಳ್ಳಮ್ಮನ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಗಳು ಹೊಸ ಜೀವನದ ಆರಂಭಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕೊನೆಗೊಂಡವು.
18/03/2021 ನಮ್ಮ ತಂಡವು ಬಂಟ್ವಾಳದ ಮೆಲ್ಕಾರ್ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಯಿಂದ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಬೆಳ್ಳಮ್ಮನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿತು ವಯಸ್ಸು 58.ಇದು ಆಕೆಯ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಘಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಂದಿಯಾಯಿತು. ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಕರೆತಂದರು. ಬೆಳ್ಳಮ್ಮ ಅವರು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಅನ್ನ ಆಹಾರವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಹಸಿವಿನಿಂದ ನಿತ್ರಾಣರಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ದಯನೀಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು.
ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳಮಾಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಆಕೆಗೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲು ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು ಹಾಗೂ ಆಪ್ತಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನೂ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಆಕೆಯ ನಿರಂತರ, ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸೂಕ್ತ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯ ಪರಿಣಾಮವಾಗಿ ಆಕೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಚೇತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಒಂದು ದಿನ ತನ್ನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ,ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿ ಮನೆಯ ವಿಳಾಸದ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಇದರಂತೆ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಮುಂಬೈ ನೆರವಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡದ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ತಿರುವನೆಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಹಳ್ಳಿಯೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಿದ್ದ ಆಕೆಯ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಿದರು.
ಆಕೆಯ ಸಹೋದರ, ಬೆಲ್ಲಮ್ಮ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, 2 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಮನೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾಗಿ, ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಆಕೆಗಾಗಿ ತೀವ್ರವಾಗಿ ಹುಡುಕಿದ್ದು, ಆದರೂ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗದಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಆಕೆಯ ಮಗಳನ್ನು ತಾನು ಆರೈಕೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಬೆಳ್ಳಮಾರ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷದ ದಿನ ಬಂದಿತು.ಆಕೆಯು 7/01/22 ರಂದು ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡಳು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಮುಂಬೈ, ಆಕೆಯ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸೆಯ ಕಿರಣವನ್ನು ತಂದು, ಒಂದು ಮಹತ್ವದ ತಿರುವಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಕೆಯು ಮಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಹೋದರರಿರುವ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷದ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲು ಕಾರಣಕರ್ತರಾದರು. ಬೆಳ್ಳಮಾರ ಆರೈಕೆ, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶ್ರಮ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಎರಡೂ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
