Umar started his life at Snehalaya on 14th February 2020. He was rescued from Uppala, Kasaragod District in a mentally ill state. He was under deep depression. During the admission he said his name as Abbas. He responded well to the medical treatment and started to take active part in all the activities of Snehalaya, and one day he shared his whereabouts.
He hails from Nimbhahera, Chittaurgarm district of Rajasthan state. Our the association with Shraddha Rehabilitation foundation, Mumbai helped to identify his home after a span of 3 years. And his original name is Umar.
Umar is having his father, brother, wife and 2 sons. He had a previous history of mental illness, “They expressed their gratitude and said “we are seeing him after 3 years. We are very happy to receive him.” It is an immense joy to us to reach him home.
ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸೇರಿದ ಶ್ರೀ ಉಮರ್
ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ ತಿಂಗಳ 14, 2020 ರಿಂದ ಉಮರ್ ತನ್ನ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಂಬಿಸಿದರು. ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಖಿನ್ನತೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿದ್ದ ಆತ ಉಪ್ಪಳದ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ಆತನನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹದ ಮನೆಗೆ ಕರೆತಂದಿತು. ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಅಬ್ಬಾಸ್ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ. ಆತನಿಗೆ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.
ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರೀಯವಾಗಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಆರಂಬಿಸಿದ. ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಆತನ ವಿಳಾಸವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡ. ಆತನು ರಾಜಸ್ತಾನ ರಾಜ್ಯದ , ಚಿತೂರ್ಗರ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ನಿಂಬಹೇರಾದವರೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ. ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯವು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ವನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಿ ಮನೆಗೆ ತಲುಪಿಸುವಂತಹ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾದರು. ಆತನ ನಿಜವಾದ ಹೆಸರು ಊಮರ್ ಎಂದು ಮನೆಯವರಿಂದ ತಿಳಿಯಿತು.
ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಉಮರನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಯಿತು. ಉಮರ್ ರವರು ತಂದೆ, ಸಹೋದರ, ಪತ್ನಿ, ಮತ್ತು 2 ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸ್ತರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಉಮರ್ ರವರು ಕಳೆದ ಹಲವಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ನೋಡಿದ ಉಮರ್ ರವರನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ತುಂಬಾ ಸಂತೋಷ ಪಟ್ಟರು .ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
