Her presence, along with other esteemed guests such as Mrs. Jyothi T, Women Protection Officer of Kasargod, Jayasree K, Chairperson of Kudumbashree, Manjeswar, Mrs. Aysha A.A, Ex Member of the Karnataka Beary Sahithya Academy, and Nirmala Jain, Pharmacy officer at Wenlock Govt. Hospital, Mangalore, underscored the community’s commitment to elevating women’s voices and addressing their unique challenges. The programme was more than a celebration; it was a testament to the resilience and diversity of women’s experiences. Mrs. Jyothi T emphasized the significance of safeguarding women’s rights and creating safe spaces for their voices to be heard and respected. Meanwhile, Jayasree K highlighted Kudumbashree’s efforts in empowering women economically and socially, illustrating the impactful strides being made towards gender equality at the grassroots level.

Mrs. Aysha A.A shared poignant insights into the cultural heritage and contributions of women in literature, while Nirmala Jain discussed the critical role of women in healthcare and the importance of accessible medical care for all women, regardless of their socio-economic status.

The highlight of the day was a captivating cultural extravaganza presented by the Kudumbashree CDS, Manjeswaram. Through dance, music, and drama, the performers celebrated the spirit of womanhood, showcasing the talents and stories of women within the community. ದಿನಾಂಕ 09.03.2024ರಂದು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯತಿಯ ಕುಟುಂಬಶ್ರೀ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಜಂಟಿ ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿಶ್ವ ಮಹಿಳಾ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಜ್ರಂಭಣೆಯಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅಥಿತಿಯಾದ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ ಗ್ರಾ.ಪಂ.ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜೀನ್ ಲವಿನಾ ಮೊಂತೇರೊರವರು ದೀಪವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲಿಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು ಅಂತೆಯೆ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಥಿತಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಟಿ(ಮಹಿಳಾ ರಕ್ಷಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿ, ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು),ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಆಯಿಷಾ ಎ.ಎ (ಮಾಜಿ ಸದಸ್ಯೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಬ್ಯಾರಿ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ),ನಿರ್ಮಲಾ ಜೇನ್(ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ, ವೆನ್ಲಾಕ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಮಂಗಳೂರು),ಜಯಶ್ರೀ ಕೆ(ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಕುಟುಂಬಶ್ರೀ, ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ),ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಒಲಿವಿಯಾ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ(ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿ ಕಮ್ ಸೆಕ್ರೆಟರಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್) ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಒಲಿವಿಯಾ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾರವರು ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಭಾಷಣವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಈ ದಿನದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದ ಗಣ್ಯರು ಮಹಿಳಾ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಹಿತನುಡಿಗಳನ್ನಾಡಿದರು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಕುಟುಂಬಶ್ರೀಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ನೀಡಿದ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಈ ದಿನದ ಮೆರಗನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಕೆಲವು ಆಟಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ವಿಜೇತರಿಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಟಸ್ಟಿಗಳಾದ ಸರಿತಾ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಮತ್ತು ಒಲಿವಿಯಾ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾರವರು ಬಹುಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಿದರು. ಇಷ್ಟೊಂದು ಸುಂದರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲು ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಸಹೋದರ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಮತ್ತು ಲಿವಿಯಾ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ದಂಪತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕುಟುಂಬಶ್ರೀಯ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ಗಣ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಸ್ಮರಣಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಶ್ರೀ ಕ್ಲಿಂಟ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.ರುಚಿಕರವಾದ ಭೋಜನದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಯಿತು.
