On February 21, 2024, a woman named Kashi Bai, who was suffering from mental illness and was under treatment at the Government Mental Hospital of Calicut, was admitted to Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation home for women under the Prathyasha project of the Kerala Government.
After receiving care and treatment at Snehalaya, her condition improved. Thanks to the efforts of the staff at Snehalaya, her address was found, and her family was traced within a few days.
On May 8, 2024, she was reunited with her family in Solapur, Maharashtra. Her son received her and was happy to see her after four years of separation. Due to some family problems, she had developed mental illness and left home. The family was very happy for this reunion and expressed their gratitude towards Snehalaya for their selfless efforts.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 21.02.2024ರಂದು ಕೇರಳದ ಕ್ಯಾಲಿಕಟ್ ನ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಿಂದ ಕಾಶಿಬಾಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕೇರಳ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಾಷ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ವಿಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಆರೈಕೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯ ಆಪ್ತಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಯಿಂದ ಕೆಲವೇ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆಯ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ವಿಳಾಸವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 08.05.2024ರಂದು ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಸೋಲಾಪುರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಕೆಯ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ನಾಲ್ಕು ವರ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಕ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮರಳಿದ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಮಗ ತುಂಬಾ
ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟನು. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕಾಶಿಬಾಯಿ ಕುಟುಂಬದಲ್ಲಾದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಕಾರಣ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಗೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗಿದ್ದರು ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಹೇಳದೆ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರು ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
