On the 6th of June, 2024, the Kannada Department of Canara College, Mangalore, orchestrated a splendid event titled “Sneha Samvada.” This gathering was centered around the textbook of the 4th BCA students, which featured a poignant lesson named “Sneha Gange.” The lesson is a biographical account of Bro Joseph Crasta and his altruistic mission, skillfully penned by Mr. Mr. Ravi Naikappu.
The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as Bro Joseph Crasta himself graced the occasion as the chief guest. His presence was a living testament to the inspiring tale chronicled in “Sneha Gange.” Accompanying him on the dais were the distinguished author, Mr. Ravi Naikappu, the esteemed Principal of the college, Dr. Premalatha V, and the dynamic Head of the Kannada Department, Mrs. Vani U.S.
The event unfurled as a tapestry of dialogue and discovery. Students eagerly engaged in a session of questions and answers, delving deep into the narrative and its themes. The exchange was vibrant, with Bro Joseph Crasta and Mr. Ravi Naikappu providing illuminating insights and sharing their personal experiences and motivations.
“Sneha Samvada” was not merely an academic exercise but a bridge of empathy and understanding, connecting the young minds with the profound values of compassion and service. The presence of such illustrious guests and the rich interaction they facilitated made the event a memorable chapter in the college’s chronicles.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 06.06.2024 ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಕೆನರಾ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಭಾಗದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ‘ಸ್ನೇಹ ಸಂವಾದ’ ಎಂಬ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಕಾಲೇಜು ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ಬಿ.ಸಿ.ಎ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪಠ್ಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ‘ಗಣಕ ಮಂಗಳ,’ ಭಾಗ ನಾಲ್ಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಸಹೋದರ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾರವರ ಜೀವನ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯನ್ನೊಳಗೊಂಡ ‘ಸ್ನೇಹ ಗಂಗೆ’ ಎಂಬ ಪಾಠದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಂವಾದ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅಥಿತಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಹೋದರ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾರವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಸ್ನೇಹಗಂಗೆ ಇದರ ಲೇಖಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರವಿ ನಾಯ್ಕಾಪು, ಕಾಲೇಜು ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ| ಪ್ರೇಮಲತಾ ವಿ, ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ತರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವಾಣಿ ಯು.ಎಸ್ ವೇದಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು.
ಈ ಅಧಿವೇಶನವು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭದಿಂದ ಅಂತ್ಯದ ವರೆಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕುತೂಹಲದಿಂದ ಅನೇಕ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರು. ಪಠ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಮಾಡಲಾದ ಪಾಠದ ಜ್ವಲಂತ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಯಾದ ಸಹೋದರ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಮತ್ತು ಲೇಖಕ ರವಿ ನಾಯ್ಕಾಪು ಅವರ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ ಪಾಠದ ಕುರಿತು ಆಳವಾಗಿ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಹೋದರ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ರವಿ ನಾಯ್ಕಾಪುರವರು ತಮ್ಮ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಅನುಭವಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಈ ಅಧಿವೇಶನವು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ರೋಮಾಂಚಕವಾಗಿ ಮೂಡಿ ಬಂತು.
