On February 16, 2024, the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre hosted a splendid inauguration ceremony to mark the installation of a newly added elevator. The distinguished chief guests for the event were Mr. Allen and Lyra, generous donors who contributed rupees 11 lakhs to make the project a reality.
The ceremony commenced with the unveiling of the name board and the ribbon cutting, gracefully performed by the esteemed couple. Among the notable individuals present were Brother Joseph Crasta, the founder of Snehalaya, accompanied by trustees Mr. Prakash Pinto, Mrs. Josliya Crasta, Saritha Crasta, the administrator, and Rev. Father Cyril D’Souza, the chaplain of Snehalaya.
Adding to the joyous occasion, theBirthdays of Mr. Allen and Lyra were also celebrated. Brother Joseph Crasta, along with the management committee of Snehalaya, took the opportunity to felicitate the couple for their exceptional support in enhancing Snehalaya through their generous contribution. He expressed heartfelt gratitude for their kindness and commitment.
During the ceremony, Mr. Allen delivered a meaningful message, underscoring the significance of the occasion. Serving as the masters of ceremony for the program were Mrs. Veena D’Souza and Mrs. Lavita D’Souza, with the entire staff of Snehalaya in attendance. The event was truly remarkable, celebrating not only the addition of the elevator but also the spirit of generosity and community at Snehalaya.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 16.02.2024 ರಂದು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿದ ಅತ್ಯಾಧುನಿಕ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನೊಳಗೊಂಡ ವಿನೂತನ ಎಲಿವೇಟರ್(ಲಿಫ್ಟ್)ನ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭವು ಬಹಳ ವಿಜೃಂಭಣೆಯಿಂದ ನಡೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ, ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ದಾನಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಲೆನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಲೈರಾರವರ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿಥಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮೆರಗನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿತು ಅಂತೆಯೆ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಸಹೋದರ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಪಿಂಟೊ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜೋಸ್ಲಿಯಾ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾದ ಸರಿತಾ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾ ಮಂದಿರದ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳಾದ ವಂ. ಫಾ ಸಿರಿಲ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾರವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ತಲಾ ಹನ್ನೊಂದು ಲಕ್ಷ ರೊಪಾಯಿಯ ಧನ ಸಹಾಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಈ ದಂಪತಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಶುಭ ಹಸ್ತದಿಂದ ರಿಬ್ಬನ್ ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿ ಲಿಫ್ಟಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ವಂ. ಫಾ ಸಿರಿಲ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾರವರು ಆಶಿರ್ವಚನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ವಿಶೇಷ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಈ ದಂಪತಿಗಳ ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು ಅಂತೆಯೆ ಅಲೆನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಲೈರಾ ದಂಪತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಹೋದರ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾರವರು ಈ ದಂಪತಿಗಳ ಈ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಾಗಿ ಹೃದಯಂತರಾಳದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು ಅಂತೆಯೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಲೆನ್ ರವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಹಿತನುಡಿಗಳನ್ನಾಡಿದರು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವಿಣಾ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಲವಿಟಾ ದಿಸೋಜರವರು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
